Greetings from Gorou Zine! This is a SFW, for-profit physical zine centered around Gorou from the game Genshin Impact. Courageous, strong, and above all, fluffy, Gorou is sure to steal your heart as well – we're excited to work with fellow Gorou lovers!
Zine Specifications
Paws & Claws: A Gorou Zine is an A5, softcover physical zine accompanied by both physical and digital merchandise. It contains art, writing, and merch from 41 contributors!
Contributor Team Requirements
GENERALAll contributors, by default, must be 16 or over above to take part in this zine. Zine experience is not required.Contributors are required to have a functioning email and discord, as all communications will be done through a private discord server. You are expected to use the server for check-ins unless discussed otherwise with mods.You must also have a means of being paid by us once profits are split between the entire team.ARTISTS & MERCH○ Artists will be required to submit 3 completed artworks and a portfolio consisting of 5 pieces or more. Using a Google Drive file is preferable but not mandatory.○ We also ask you to correctly tag work with the appropriate rating and warnings when applying, thank you.○ Should you be accepted as an artist, you will be expected to provide a completed artwork – one page unless assigned a two-page spread.○ We will focus on an artist's ability to create an engaging piece with attention to detail, good knowledge of how to paint backgrounds. Although not mandatory, we do expect you to be able to create a background that is not just a flat color. As well as working knowledge of color theory and anatomy.○ Backgrounds do not apply to merch applicants unless specifically applying for prints.AUTHORS○ Authors will be required to have 3 samples of 1.5k words to 3k words and a portfolio consisting of 5 pieces or more. Using a google drive file is
preferable but is not mandatory.○ We also ask you to correctly tag work with the appropriate rating and warnings when applying, thank you.○ Should you be accepted as an author, you will be expected to provide a piece of work that is 2,000-2,500 words.○ We are focusing on good pacing, good knowledge of syntax, spelling, grammar, and good characterization.
